A person has been hit by a train between Colchester and Clacton-on-Sea / Walton-on-the-Naze. Whilst the emergency services carry out their work, all lines between these stations are closed. Trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 12:30.

Greater Anglia are working closely with emergency services to reinstate trains as soon as possible. In the meantime, Greater Anglia are in the process of resourcing rail replacement buses to help you complete your journey.

  • Colchester - Walton-on-the-Naze
