Engineering work is taking place between Southampton Central and Southampton Airport Parkway, and in the Redbridge area, closing some lines.

CrossCountry:

On Saturday and Sunday, trains will be diverted to run via Eastleigh (some services will call additionally), and will not run between Southampton Airport Parkway and Southampton Central / Bournemouth.

Replacement bus services will operate between:

Saturday:

• Southampton Airport Parkway and Bournemouth.
• Southampton Airport Parkway and Southampton Central.

Sunday:

• Southampton Airport Parkway / Southampton Central and Eastleigh.
• Eastleigh and Bournemouth.

Great Western Railway: Trains between Cardiff Central and Portsmouth Harbour will run to an amended and reduced timetable, and will be diverted between Romsey and Fareham to run via Chandlers Ford and Eastleigh, calling additionally at both stations. These trains will not call at Southampton Central. Replacement buses will run between Eastleigh and Southampton Central.

South Western Railway:

Buses replace trains between:

• Southampton Central and Bournemouth.
• Southampton Central and Fareham.
• Southampton Airport Parkway and New Milton.
• Eastleigh and Brockenhurst.
• Eastleigh and Bournemouth.
• Eastleigh and Romsey.

It is not yet known how Southern will be affected by this engineering work.
