Network Rail are warning passengers in England and Wales to only travel if absolutely necessary on Monday 18th July and Tuesday 19th July.
On both Monday and Tuesday the 6.23am services from Edinburgh will now only run to Newcastle, and the 12:18pm service from London Kings Cross will now start at Newcastle at 15:17 on these days.
If you choose to not travel, your ticket will be accepted on any alternative Lumo service on the seven days preceding your day of travel, subject to seats remaining available on your chosen service. You will be required to make a mandatory reservation for your selected alternative Lumo service, which can be done through LUMO Twitter.
