Amended afternoon Great Western Railway services in the Plymouth / Newport areas on Saturday 22 June
Engineering work is taking place in the Filton Abbey Wood area, closing some lines on Saturday.The 16:44 Penzance to Cardiff Central will operate in two parts:
There is a fire next to the track between Newport (South Wales) and Cardiff Central, closing all lines running between these stations.This means that trains may be cancelled, severely delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.
Engineering work is taking place overnight between Radyr and Cardiff Central via Danescourt, closing some lines.
Engineering work is taking place between Severn Tunnel Junction and Patchway, closing some lines.
As a result, the following trains will be amended:

A shortage of train drivers between Cardiff Central and Nottingham means a reduced service will run between these stations. Trains may be cancelled or revised.
