Edshift Edshift is a partner for 2026 on the West Riding route, with a focus on helping transform the lives of young people affected by domestic abuse through the arts. Our partnership includes funding for the Spotlight programme and workshops with Grand Central volunteers. Aesthetica Short Film Festival Aesthetica Short Film Festival is a long-standing travel partner of ours, with Grand Central supporting the annual event providing travel for participants and visitors and helping support creative workshops that inspire and engage young filmmakers and festival attendees. We regularly take part in the parade and this year we are sponsoring awareness workshops to support the local community and celebrate diversity in the North East. World of James Herriot Grand Central has had a long alliance with the World of James Herriot in Thirsk, supporting local business and tourism. Each year, we celebrate Yorkshire Day at King’s Cross, promoting Herriot Country and encouraging visitors to explore the region by rail. The National Museum of the Royal Navy Our partnership with the National Museum of the Royal Navy includes hosting events at King’s Cross to encourage people to travel by train to the museum in Hartlepool. This collaboration highlights the importance of rail travel in connecting communities and supporting cultural heritage.
