Disruption following an earlier fault with the signalling system between Bangor and Holyhead has now ended.
- Hillington West Platform Renewal: Services towards Paisley Gilmour Street will not call at Hillington West from Sunday 18 May to Saturday 23 August
Engineering work is taking place on Platform 2 at Hillington West station, closing the platform for 13 weeks (project background information is available below).
Due to this, Westbound trains (towards Paisley Gilmour Street) will not call at Hillington West. Eastbound services (towards Glasgow Central) are not affected by this and will run as normal.
If you are travelling to / from Hillington West you should instead travel to / from Hillington East if possible. Hillington East is a short distance from Hillington West.

Background information on this project:
Network Rail will be delivering nearly £3m of upgrades in platform works at Hillington West station. The investment will not only improve safety and reliability of the railway but will provide modern, safer platforms and wider improvements to the station environment for passengers.
The project consists of two 13-week phases, the first phase being the renewal of platform 1. Once platform 1 is renewed it will reopen and teams will then spend 13 weeks renewing platform 2.
- Hamilton West Platform Renewal: Services towards Motherwell / Larkhall will not call at Hamilton West from Sunday 18 May to Friday 29 August
Engineering work is taking place on Platform 2 at Hamilton West station, closing the platform for the duration.
Due to this, Eastbound trains (towards Motherwell / Larkhall) will not call at Hamilton West. Westbound services (towards Glasgow Central) are not affected by this and will run as normal.
If you are travelling to / from Hamilton West you should instead travel to / from Hamilton Central if possible. Hamilton Central is a short distance from Hamilton West.

- No trains between Blackheath and Charlton from Monday 19 May until Saturday 26 July
Engineering work is taking place on the Blackheath Tunnel, closing all lines between Blackheath and Charlton from Monday 19 May until the end of the day on Saturday 26 July.
No trains will run between Blackheath and Charlton.
Most trains between Dartford and London Cannon Street via Woolwich Arsenal / Lewisham will be diverted to run via Greenwich, however at peak times some of these trains will be diverted to run via Bexleyheath.
There will be two trains per hour fewer between Blackheath and London Cannon Street. At peak times some additional trains will run between Dartford and London Cannon Street via Bexleyheath. Alternative travel options:
You can use London Bus routes 54 and 380 at no extra cost between Blackheath, Charlton and Woolwich Arsenal You can also use the following routes, but normal TfL fares will apply:
- London Bus route SL3 between Abbey Wood, Bexleyheath and Sidcup railway stations.
- Docklands Light Railway between Lewisham and Greenwich

- Buses replace trains between Huddersfield and Halifax / Leeds from Saturday 7 to Friday 13 June
Engineering work is taking place between Huddersfield and Leeds, closing all lines via Dewsbury.
Northern:
Saturday to Friday:
Leeds â Manchester Victoria via Dewsbury:
Trains will be diverted via Bradford Interchange and Halifax, and will not call at Cottingley, Morley, Batley, Dewsbury, Mirfield and Brighouse.
Replacement buses will run between Halifax and Leeds via Dewsbury.
On Saturday and Sunday only, train services will run between Dewsbury and Leeds.
Replacement buses will be provided by TransPennine Express between Huddersfield and Halifax, which you can use at no extra cost.

Monday to Friday:
Services between Huddersfield and Leeds will be diverted to run via Wakefield Kirkgate.
An amended train service will run between:
- Liverpool Lime Street and Newcastle via Normanton (additionally calling at Northallerton and Lea Green)
- Manchester Victoria and Redcar Central via Wakefield Kirkgate / Leeds (additionally calls at Stalybridge on services towards Manchester)
- Hull and Leeds
- Scarborough and York
- Manchester Piccadilly and York (every 2 hours, trains will not stop at Normanton)
Buses will replace trains between:
- Huddersfield and Leeds via Dewsbury
- Dewsbury and Leeds

- Far North Line Track Upgrade: Major Engineering Work between Inverness and Wick / Thurso from Sunday 8 to Monday 30 June
Major engineering work is taking place between Dingwall and Georgemas Junction, closing all lines throughout June (background information can be found below).

Inverness â Invergordon / Tain / Ardgay / Lairg / Wick:
Buses will replace trains between Inverness and Invergordon / Tain / Ardgay / Lairg / Wick.
Please note: Rail replacement buses will not serve Altnabreac or Scotscalder.
A limited amount of train services will run between Inverness and Dingwall only, calling at intermediate stations.
Inverness â Kyle of Lochalsh:
Train services will operate as normal.
Additionally:
Sunday 8 June:
- 17:54 Inverness to Wick will terminate at Dingwall. A replacement bus will run from Inverness to Wick, leaving Inverness at 17:54

Background Information:
Network Rail will be carrying out an £11.5 million project to significantly improve the Far North Line during June. The work will increase reliability of rail services for passengers by refurbishing a 5 mile stretch of track between Brora and Helmsdale and replacing almost 9 miles of track between Invergordon and Fearn.

Engineering work is taking place between London Paddington and Southall, closing some lines late on Monday to Wednesday evenings.
As a result, the following trains will not run:

- The 23:42 Heathrow Terminal 5 to London Paddington service

Engineering work is taking place at several places in the Manchester / Liverpool area, closing some lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.
As a result:
- The 22:44 Wilmslow to Liverpool Lime Street service will terminate at Manchester Oxford Road. A bus will be provided from Manchester Piccadilly to Liverpool Lime Street
- The 23:00 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Airport service will start from Manchester Oxford Road. A bus will be provided from Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Airport
- The 23:03 Manchester Victoria to Blackburn service will not run. You can use alternative Northern services between Manchester Victoria and Todmorden, and change at Todmorden for a replacement bus towards Blackburn
- The 23:15 Liverpool Lime Street to Preston service will be bus replaced throughout
- The 23:20 Blackburn to Manchester Victoria service will be bus replaced throughout
- The 23:22 Blackpool North to Manchester Airport service will not call at Lostock or Salford Crescent. A bus will be provided from Horwich Parkway to Manchester Airport, stopping to set down only from Bolton. On Wednesday only, this service will terminate at Manchester Piccadilly. A bus will be provided from Manchester Piccadilly to Manchester Airport
- The 23:30 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Victoria service will be bus replaced throughout

Engineering work is taking place between Worthing and West Worthing, closing all lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.
After approximately 23:30 each night, buses will replace all trains between Worthing and West Worthing. Additionally, the 22:52 Portsmouth to Brighton train will run non-stop from Littlehampton to Worthing. A replacement bus will run from Littlehampton to Brighton, calling at all intermediate stations to Brighton.

Engineering work is taking place between Milton Keynes Central and Long Buckby, closing all lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.
After approximately 22:00, train services between London Euston and Northampton will run between London Euston and Milton Keynes Central only. Rail replacement buses will run between Milton Keynes Central and Northampton. The 22:06 Birmingham New Street to London Euston service is retimed to depart from Rugby at 22:55, Wolverton at 23.28 and will not call at Long Buckby or Northampton. You should use alternative train services for Long Buckby / Northampton.

Engineering work is taking place overnight between Witham and Colchester, closing some lines.
The 23:48 (Monday - Wednesday), 00:18 and 00:46 (Tuesday - Thursday) London Liverpool Street to Colchester services will be replaced by a bus service between Witham and Colchester.
Please also note that the 23:02 London Liverpool Street to Ipswich service will terminate at Colchester.
Passengers for Manningtree and Ipswich should change at Colchester for the 23:30 London Liverpool Street to Norwich service.
Tuesday to Thursday
The 04:43 Colchester to London Liverpool Street service will start from Witham at 05:00. A connecting rail replacement bus service will be in operation from Colchester to Witham, departing Colchester at 04:10, Marks Tey at 04:26, and Kelvedon at 04:38, arriving at Witham at 04:50.

Engineering work is taking place at several locations in the Cardiff area, closing various lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.
Monday to Friday:
The 22:37 Merthyr Tydfil to Cardiff Central will terminate at Radyr. A replacement bus will run from Radyr to Cardiff Central via Llandaf, Cathays and Cardiff Queen Street.
The 22:42 Coryton to Penarth will terminate at Cardiff Central. A replacement bus will run from Cardiff Central to Penarth.
The 22:49 Barry Island to Caerphilly will terminate at Cardiff Central. A replacement bus will run from Cardiff Central to Ystrad Mynach.
The 22:52 Aberdare to Cardiff Central will terminate at Radyr. A replacement bus will run from Radyr to Cardiff Central via Danescourt, Fairwater, Waun-Gron Park and Ninian Park.
The 23:12 Pontypridd to Cardiff Central will terminate at Radyr. A replacement bus will run from Radyr to Cardiff Central via Llandaf, Cathays and Cardiff Queen Street.
The 23:30 Cardiff Central to Barry Island will be replaced by a bus throughout.
The 23:36 Penarth to Cardiff Central service will be replaced by a bus.
The 23:46 Cardiff Central to Pontypridd will depart Cardiff Central earlier at 23:42, before running at its usual times from Cardiff Queen Street onwards.
The 23:54 Cardiff Bay to Cardiff Central will terminate at Cardiff Queen Street. You can use rail replacement buses running from Radyr to Cardiff Central to complete your journey.

The 05:15 Cardiff Central to Barry Island will depart 4 minutes later than usual, at 05:21.

Engineering work is taking place at several places on the East Midlands Railway network, closing some lines overnight from Monday evening until Saturday morning.
Monday to Friday:
The 22:35 London St Pancras International to Nottingham service will now terminate at Derby at 00:39. It will not call at Beeston or Nottingham, a rail replacement bus will run between East Midlands Parkway and Nottingham, calling at Beeston.
The 23:35 London St Pancras International to Nottingham service will depart later from Kettering 01:07 and continue to run up to 12 minutes later throughout, terminating at Derby at 02:50. It will not call at Beeston or Nottingham, a rail replacement bus will run between East Midlands Parkway and Nottingham, calling at Beeston.
Monday to Thursday:
The 22:47 London St Pancras International to Corby service will depart Bedford later than usual, at 23:48, and will run up to 17 minutes later throughout.
The 23:04 London St Pancras International to Derby service will depart Wellingborough later than usual at 00:30, and will continue to run up to 27 minutes later throughout, arriving Derby at 02:31. It will not call at Long Eaton or Nottingham, a rail replacement bus will run between East Midlands Parkway and Nottingham, calling at Long Eaton.
Tuesday to Friday:
The 04:13 Derby to London St Pancras International service will depart Derby earlier than usual at 03:50, it will then return to it's scheduled departure time from East Midlands Parkway and will run as scheduled until departing Kettering earlier than usual at 05:35.
The 04:32 Corby to London St Pancras International service will depart Corby earlier than usual at 04:24. It will continue to run up to 7 minutes earlier than usual until Bedford.
The 04:47 Derby to London St Pancras International service will depart Derby earlier than usual at 04:28, and will not call at Long Eaton. A rail replacement bus will run between Derby and Nottingham, calling at Long Eaton.
The 04:58 Sheffield to London St Pancras International service will depart earlier than usual at 04:38, and will run 20 minutes earlier than scheduled to East Midlands Parkway. It will not call at Long Eaton. A rail replacement bus will run between Derby and East Midlands Parkway, calling at Long Eaton.
Friday:
The 22:47 London St Pancras International to Corby service will depart Bedford later than scheduled at 23:47, and will continue to run up to 14 minutes later throughout.
The 23:54 London St Pancras International to Corby service will depart Bedford later than scheduled at 01:02, and will continue to run up to 10 minutes later throughout.

The 23:04 London St Pancras International to Derby service will run as scheduled to Leicester where it will depart later at 01:36 and will continue to run up to 14 minutes later throughout. The 23:35 London St Pancras International to Nottingham service will depart later from Kettering 00:58 and continue to run up to 21 minutes later throughout, terminating at Derby. It will no longer call at Beeston or Nottingham, a connecting rail replacement bus will run between East Midlands Parkway and Nottingham, calling at Beeston. Tuesday to Friday:
The 04:13 Derby to London St Pancras International service will depart earlier at 04:00, it will continue to run up to 13 minutes early until Luton Airport Parkway, where it will return to it's scheduled departure time.

The 23:20 Manchester Airport to Holyhead is replaced with replacement road transport between Manchester Piccadilly and Chester. A train service from Chester to Holyhead will start from Chester at 00:52, connecting with the replacement bus. If you are travelling from Manchester Airport / East Didsbury, you are advised to use other operators' services.
Tuesday to Friday:
The 00:26 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester will be replaced by a bus throughout.

Trains between Cardiff Central and Portsmouth Harbour will be diverted to run between Bristol Parkway and Portsmouth Harbour. An alternative train service will run between Cardiff Central and Bristol Parkway via Gloucester to connect to trains between Bristol Parkway and Portsmouth Harbour.
Trains between Cardiff Central and Taunton / Exeter St Davids (and beyond) will run between Bristol Temple Meads and Taunton / Exeter St Davids (and beyond). An alternative train service will run between Cardiff Central and Bristol Temple Meads via Gloucester to connect to trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Taunton / Exeter St Davids (and beyond).
You can use your ticket on local bus services between Patchway and Bristol Parkway at no extra cost.
A replacement bus service will run between Cardiff Central and Newport / Severn Tunnel Junction during peak times, and between Cardiff Central and Newport / Bristol Parkway during the early morning / late night.
