Engineering work is taking place between Yeovil Pen Mill and Dorchester West, closing all lines.
On Saturday:
Trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Weymouth will start / terminate at Yeovil Pen Mill. Buses will run between Yeovil Pen Mill and Weymouth, calling at all stations. Additional buses will run fast between Yeovil Pen Mill and Weymouth, calling at Dorchester West.
The following train alterations will also apply:
- The 06:54 Westbury to Weymouth will operate a few minutes earlier than normal and will terminate at Yeovil Pen Mill.
- The 06:49 Worchester Shrub Hill (starting from Bristol Temple Meads) to Weymouth will terminate at Frome.
- The 08:53 Weymouth to Gloucester (terminating at Bristol Temple Meads) will start from Frome.
- The 17:30 Weymouth to Bristol Temple Meads will start from Yeovil Pen Mill 9 minutes later than normal.
On Sunday:
Trains between Swindon / Bristol Temple Meads / Weston-super-Mare and Weymouth will start / terminate at Castle Cary. Buses will run between Castle Cary and Weymouth, calling at all stations. Additional buses will run fast between Castle Cary and Weymouth, calling at Yeovil Pen Mill and Dorchester West.
The following train alterations will also apply:
- The 08:19 Bristol Temple Meads to Weymouth will start later than normal from Bristol Temple Meads and will terminate at Westbury.
- The 11:25 Westbury to Frome will depart earlier at 11:22 and will be amended to call at Bruton and Castle Cary.
- The 11:40 Frome to Bristol Temple Meads will start from Castle Cary, also calling at Bruton.
- The 20:09 Weymouth (starting from Castle Cary) to Bristol Temple Meads will run approximately 60 minutes later than normal.
South Western Railway services are not affected by this engineering work.
