Engineering work is taking place between Stevenage and London Kings Cross / Moorgate on Sunday 24 February, and as a result, some lines will be closed.
The train service will be affected as follows:
Grand Central:
Grand Central services will be diverted from the East Coast Main Line between Stevenage and Alexandra Palace, travelling via Hertford North, to avoid engineering works. This diversion is anticipated to extend journey times by up approximately 15 minutes.
Great Northern:
It is not yet known how Great Northern will be affected by these engineering works.
Hull Trains:
It is not yet known how Hull Trains will be affected by these engineering works.
London North Eastern Railway:
London North Eastern Railway services will be diverted from the East Coast Main Line between Stevenage and Alexandra Palace, travelling via Hertford North, to avoid engineering works. This diversion is anticipated to extend journey times by up approximately 15 minutes.
To minimise disruption to LNER services, trains scheduled to start their journey from London Kings Cross will depart the station approximately 15 minutes earlier.
Thameslink:
It is not yet known how Thameslink will be affected by these engineering works.
