Other Grand Central services will be diverted between Peterborough and Doncaster, and will take longer than usual between these stations. These services will make additional calls at Doncaster.
Sunday:
Grand Central services will not be affected, and will run normally.
Hull Trains:
Hull Trains will operate a heavily reduced service on Saturday, with fewer than usual services running by a diversionary route, with train journeys taking longer than usual.
On Sunday, due to engineering work taking place all day, trains between Selby and Hull will start / terminate at Selby, a replacement bus service will operate between Selby and Hull for Brough and Howden customers. Journey times will be extended.
London North Eastern Railway:
Saturday:
London North Eastern Railway (LNER) will operate an hourly service to / from London Kings Cross, with trains being diverted between Peterborough and Doncaster. Other LNER services will start from / terminate at Newark Northgate, Doncaster or York. A replacement bus will run between Peterborough, Grantham and Newark Northgate.
Sunday:
The 09:30 London Kings Cross to Edinburgh service will start at 08:35, and will run via a diversionary route between Peterborough and Doncaster.
The 08:48 London Kings Cross to Edinburgh service will start from York at 10:37.
The 09:00 London Kings Cross to Edinburgh will start from Newcastle at 11:51.
