Due to a fault on a train between Moorgate and Finsbury Park all lines are blocked.
Disruption is expected until 18:15.
A fault with the signalling system between Shifnal and Codsall means fewer trains are able to run.
Trains running between Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.
Some stations between Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton will not be served.

Transport for Wales services are currently unable to run between Shrewsbury and Birmingham International. Train services running through Shrewsbury and Birmingham New Street may be terminated at and started back from Shrewsbury.

Lines have reopened following a train hitting an obstruction between Oxenholme Lake District and Carlisle earlier today. Trains may still be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes whilst normal service recovers.

A trespass incident on the railway at Barnham means trains have to run at reduced speed on all lines. As a result, trains running through this station may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

For your safety, please donât leave the train unless instructed. Other trains may still be running, and the tracks can be very dangerous. If the area has an electric third rail, it stays live even during delays and looks just like the other rails.

Can you tell me more about the incident?
A trespass incident has been reported in the Barnham area, and trains have been stopped for safety. Emergency services and Network Rail are on-site to remove the person.
Trespassing on the railway is extremely dangerous. Trains run at all times, often without warning, and many areas have high-voltage third rails, steep drops, and other hazards.
It is also illegal, with serious penalties for obstructing the railway.

A fault with the signalling system between Bellshill and Motherwell means the line towards Lanark is currently closed. As a result, trains between Glasgow Central and Motherwell via Bellshill may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.

A signalling staff being taken ill between Strood and Paddock Wood means lines are disrupted. Trains running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Disruption is expected until 06:30.
What's happened?
A member of the signalling staff has been taken ill and is unavailable until another signaller arrives on site at 06:00. As a result, trains between Paddock Wood and Strood this morning will be disrupted
How does this affect my journey?
Services between Paddock Wood and Strood will be altered, cancelled or delayed from the beginning of service until approximately 06:30. All the systems have now been updated with the changes - please check your journey before you travel.
What should I do?
Please allow extra time to complete your journey and check before you travel. Replacement buses will operate between Strood, Paddock Wood and Maidstone West and these are available in the journey planner.
If you are travelling from Strood - unfortunately we were unable to source any replacement buses from Strood. Please speak to a member of staff for assistance in organising alternative transport and keep any receipts to submit them to our customer services for a refund.

Following a fault with the signalling system at Hubberts Bridge all lines between Boston and Sleaford have reopened. As service recovers, trains may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.

A reduced service will also operate between Abbey Wood and Heathrow Terminal 4.

There is a trespasser on the line between Newcastle and Manors, closing all lines running between these stations.
As a result of this, trains running between Newcastle and Ashington / Morpeth may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

Engineering work is taking place on Platform 2 at Hillington West station, closing the platform for 13 weeks (project background information is available below).
Due to this, Westbound trains (towards Paisley Gilmour Street) will not call at Hillington West. Eastbound services (towards Glasgow Central) are not affected by this and will run as normal.
If you are travelling to / from Hillington West you should instead travel to / from Hillington East if possible. Hillington East is a short distance from Hillington West.

Background information on this project:
Network Rail will be delivering nearly £3m of upgrades in platform works at Hillington West station. The investment will not only improve safety and reliability of the railway but will provide modern, safer platforms and wider improvements to the station environment for passengers.
The project consists of two 13-week phases, the first phase being the renewal of platform 1. Once platform 1 is renewed it will reopen and teams will then spend 13 weeks renewing platform 2.
Engineering work is taking place on Platform 2 at Hamilton West station, closing the platform for the duration.
Due to this, Eastbound trains (towards Motherwell / Larkhall) will not call at Hamilton West. Westbound services (towards Glasgow Central) are not affected by this and will run as normal.
If you are travelling to / from Hamilton West you should instead travel to / from Hamilton Central if possible. Hamilton Central is a short distance from Hamilton West.

Engineering work is taking place on the Blackheath Tunnel, closing all lines between Blackheath and Charlton from Monday 19 May until the end of the day on Saturday 26 July.
No trains will run between Blackheath and Charlton.
Most trains between Dartford and London Cannon Street via Woolwich Arsenal / Lewisham will be diverted to run via Greenwich, however at peak times some of these trains will be diverted to run via Bexleyheath.
There will be two trains per hour fewer between Blackheath and London Cannon Street. At peak times some additional trains will run between Dartford and London Cannon Street via Bexleyheath. Alternative travel options:

The 22:47 Sheffield to Manchester Piccadilly service will not call at New Mills Central, Strines, Marple, Romiley, Bredbury, Brinnington, Reddish North, Ryder Brow, Belle Vue and Ashburys, and will call additionally at Stockport. A bus will be provided from Chinley to Manchester Piccadilly to serve intermediate stations. The 23:13 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester service will depart at 23:11 and run earlier than normally advertised to Stockport. The 23:16 Manchester Piccadilly to Macclesfield service will not run. The 21:55 Blackpool North to Manchester Airport service will be extended to Macclesfield in its place. The 23:18 New Mills Central to Manchester Piccadilly will be bus replaced throughout. The 23:25 Manchester Piccadilly to New Mills Central service will be bus replaced throughout. The 23:29 Manchester Piccadilly to Glossop service will not run. A bus will be provided between Manchester Piccadilly and Hadfield calling at Ashburys, Gorton, Guide Bridge, Flowery Field, Newton for Hyde, Godley, Glossop and Dinting. A mini-bus will be provided between Godley and Hadfield (and vv) calling at Hattersley, Broadbottom, Glossop and Dinting. The 23:37 Manchester Piccadilly to Manchester Airport service will not run. The 23:49 Nottingham to Derby train will no longer run. A rail replacement bus will run between Nottingham and Derby calling at Beeston, Attenborough, Long Eaton and Derby.
The 23:59 Mansfield Woodhouse to Nottingham train will no longer run. A rail replacement bus will run between Mansfield Woodhouse and Nottingham, calling at Mansfield Town, Sutton Parkway, Kirkby in Ashfield and Nottingham.

Monday to Thursday:
From 23:10 until the end of service, trains between London Victoria and Orpington via Beckenham Junction will be diverted and run non stop between London Victoria and Shortlands. Accessible replacement buses will run between London Victoria and Orpington via Beckenham Junction calling at all stations except Brixton. If you are travelling to or from Brixton you can use London Underground between Victoria and Brixton at no extra cost.
From 23:45 until the end of service services between Bromley North and Grove Park will not run. You will be able to use London Buses routes 126 and 261 at no extra cost between Bromley North and Grove Park.
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday:
The 22:10 Victoria to Dover Priory will run nonstop between Faversham and Dover Priory. Accessible buses will run between:
From 23:45 until the end of service, accessible buses replace trains between Sittingbourne, Herne Bay and Ramsgate. A minibus will run between Sittingbourne and Teynham
The 23:20 London St Pancras International to Faversham train will only run between London St Pancras International and Gravesend. Change at Gravesend for a connecting Thameslink train to Gillingham. Change again at Gillingham for a train to Sittingbourne and onward accesible bus connection to Faversham.
The 23:50 London St Pancras International to Faversham service will be replaced by accessible buses between Ebbsfleet International, Gillingham and Faversham calling at all stations except Higham, Newington and Teynham.
Wednesday to Friday:
From 01:15 until the end of service, accessible buses replace trains between Slade Green and Dartford / Gravesend.
After 01:00, the last train between London and Dartford via Bexleyheath will be diverted to Slade Green, and connect with a replacement bus service between Slade Green and Dartford / Gravesend.

Monday to Thursday:
The 20:48 London Paddington to Swansea will divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Ninian Park â not calling) arriving / departing Bridgend and beyond a few minutes later than normal.
The 21:48 and 22:49 London Paddington to Swansea will divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Barry â not calling) arriving / departing Bridgend and beyond later than normal.
Tuesday to Friday:
The 03:46 Swansea to London Paddington will depart earlier at 03:38. It will arrive / depart Neath, Port Talbot Parkway and Bridgend a few minutes earlier than normal before diverting between Bridgend and Cardiff Central (via Barry â not calling).
