What's Going On
Train services running across the whole South Western Railway network may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Customer Advice
Due to multiple trees blocking the railway across the SWR network, the majority of our services will be suspended until further notice. You are advised not to travel at this time.
Tickets dated for travel today (2 January) will be valid for use tomorrow (3 January).

Current ongoing issues include:
- A tree blocking the railway between Sunningdale and Ascot.
- A tree blocking the railway at Hook.
- A tree blocking the railway between Virginia Water and Ascot.
- A tree blocking the railway between Eastleigh and Romsey.
- A tree blocking the railway at Farnham.
- A tree blocking the railway between Motspur Park and Worcester Park.
- An obstruction on the line at Ash Vale
- A precarious tree between Guildford and Worplesdon.
- Heavy rain flooding the railway between Ryde Esplanade and Ryde Pier Head.

All services on the following lines will be suspended until further notice:
Staines to Reading.
Basingstoke to Exeter St Davids.
Basingstoke to Weymouth.
Portsmouth to Southampton.
Woking to Alton.
Woking to Portsmouth.
