A fault on a train between Sittingbourne and Sheerness-on-Sea means a reduced service is currently in operation between these stations. 

Trains may be cancelled. Disruption is expected until 10:00.

What's happened?

One of our trains has developed a fault which cannot be rectified on the island line.

How does this affect my journey?

A reduced train service is in operation between Sittingbourne and Sheerness.

The following trains are cancelled:

  • 06:36 Sheerness-on-Sea to Sittingbourne
  • 06:53 Sittingbourne to Sheerness-on-Sea
  • 07:34 Sheerness-on-Sea to Sittingbourne
  • 07:50 Sittingbourne to Sheerness-on-Sea
  • 08:22 Sheerness-on-Sea to Sittingbourne
  • 08:55 Sittingbourne to Sheerness-on-Sea
  • 09:36 Sheerness-on-Sea to Sittingbourne

 

We are looking into running a replacement bus service and checking with local bus providers for availability.
