A shortage of train crew between Manchester Victoria and Stalybridge means fewer trains are able to run. As a result, trains may be cancelled or revised. This is expected until 15:00.

Customers may use Manchester Metrolink on services between Manchester stations and Ashton-under-Lyne until the end of service.
Customers may also use TransPennine Express services between Manchester stations and Stalybridge.
Rail replacement:
To assist customers to complete their journey, road transport will be provided as follows:
- 13:26 Manchester Victoria, all stations to Stalybridge - operated by Atlantic Travel.
- 14:16 Stalybridge, all stations to Manchester Victoria - operated by Atlantic Travel
Journey times will be extended by up to 30 minutes when travelling by road replacement services.
