A shortage of train crew between London Kings Cross and Cambridge / Peterborough / Kings Lynn means a reduced service will run between these stations. As a result, trains may be cancelled or revised until the end of the day.

A reduced Thameslink and Great Northern service will be operating on the below routes throughout the day:

• Between Kings Lynn, Ely and Cambridge
• Between Cambridge and London Kings Cross
• Between Royston and London Kings Cross
• Between Moorgate and Welwyn Garden City

There will also be a reduced direct service between Horsham and Peterborough later this evening.

If you are travelling on the above routes, please expect your journey time to be extended as you may need to wait longer than usual for a train service.

To assist, you can use your ticket at no extra cost on Thameslink or Great Northern services via any reasonable route.

Staff would strongly recommend you check before you travel today, and allow plenty of extra time.
