Urgent repairs to the railway between Faversham and Margate means the line towards coast-bound will be closed. As a result, trains may be cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected from 13:50 until 15:30.

What's happened?

To allow Network Rail to carry out urgent repairs to the railway in the Faversham area, trains will be unable to run from Faversham to Margate from 13:50 for approximately 2 hours.

How does this affect my journey?

The following trains are altered:

  • 13:20 St. Pancras - Ramsgate (arrives 15:11) will terminate at Faversham.
  • 13:40 London Victoria - Ramsgate (arrives 15:35) will divert to Dover Priory after Faversham.
  • 15:15 Faversham - London Charing Cross (arrives 18:24) will start at Herne Bay at 15:31
  • 15:46 Ramsgate - London Victoria (arrives 17:51) will start at Dover Priory at 15:30
