A member of train crew being unavailable means fewer trains are able to run between Carlisle and Barrow-in-Furness.
The following amendments will take place:
- 11:07 Carlisle to Barrow-in-Furness will be cancelled
- 12:10 Carlisle to Lancaster will terminate at Workington
- 13.07 Carlisle to Lancaster will terminate at Whitehaven
- 14:08 Carlisle to Barrow-in-Furness will start at Workington.
Disruption is expected until 15:00.
Customer Advice:
The first service expected to run is the 14:41 Carlisle to Lancaster via Barrow-in-Furness.
You may use your tickets on Avanti West Coast and TransPennine Express services between Carlisle and Lancaster (in this direction only) until 15:00 today. At Lancaster, you can board alternative Northern services to Barrow-in-Furness.
To help you complete your journey, road transport will be depart Whitehaven at 14:25 calling at all stops to Barrow-in-Furness, this will be operated by WHT.
Journey times will be extended by up to 120 minutes when travelling by road replacement services.
