Due to availability of train crew between London Kings Cross and Cambridge:

Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customer Advice

We have had to cancel a number of trains today owing to a lack of available train crew. You should plan your journey before heading to the station using the journey planner at nationalrail.co.uk. As we are continuously trying to secure crew for as many trains as possible, you should check as close to your time of travel as possible.

Services between Cambridge and Kings Lynn

An hourly shuttle service will run in both directions between Kings Lyyn and Cambridge. This will run to an amended timetable. There will be no direct services between Kings Lynn and London Kings Cross today, you will need to change trains at Cambridge.

Services between Kings Cross and Welwyn Garden City / Watton-at-Stone / Stevenage

Services are expected to run as usual with some cancellations occurring

Services between Kings Cross and Cambridge

A significant number of trains will be cancelled.

Trains are running on all Great Northern routes, but we expect that there may be some gaps in the regular service. To help you complete your journey you may use your ticket on the following alternatives at no additional cost:

Thameslink on routes to and from Peterborough / Cambridge

Greater Anglia

Between Cambridge and Ely

Between Cambridge and London

Cross Country between Cambridge, Ely and Peterborough

EMR (East Midlands Railway) between Peterborough and Ely

London Underground between Kings Cross and Moorgate (for Finsbury Park, Highbury and Islington, and Old Street) and between Kings Cross and Liverpool Street (to connect to/from Greater Anglia services)

Rail Replacement Buses may also run on some routes if waiting times for trains are expected to be longer than an hour.
