The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for strong winds across England and Wales on Wednesday. High winds accompanied by heavy and blustery showers may bring some disruption to train services across the Northern network.
Skipton - Lancaster
Buses will replace trains between Skipton and Lancaster due to flooding. This is excepted to continue until 10:00.
The following routes are affected by speed restrictions:
Delays of up to 15 minutes can be expected on the following routes until approximately 09:00:
Skipton - Carlisle
Barrow-in-Furness - Carlisle
Preston - Leeds
Blackburn - Manchester Victoria via Todmorden
Manchester Victoria - Leeds
Manchester Piccadilly - Sheffield
Manchester Piccadilly - Buxton
Manchester Piccadilly - Stoke-on-Trent
Bolton - Preston
