A fault with the signalling system between Sheerness-on-Sea and Sittingbourne means that trains cannot run between these stations. Disruption is expected until 17:30.

What's happened?

Southeastern have been informed of a fault with the signalling system between Swale and Kemsley, which means trains are unable to run on the Sheerness Line. Response staff are on their way to investigate the signalling issue.

How does this affect my journey?

Trains cannot run between Sittingbourne and Sheerness on Sea in either direction.

What should I do?

Rail replacement buses have been rearranged, and are expected to serve all stations on the Sheerness line from 15:00 onwards.
