A fault with the signalling system between Manchester Piccadilly and New Mills Central means all lines are blocked.
There will be no trains between Manchester Piccadilly and New Mills Central until approximately 10:00.
Alternative transport advice
Rail replacement transport has been requested to run as follows -
- Manchester Piccadilly to Chinley calling at Ashburys, Belle Vue, Ryder Brow, Reddish North, Brinnington, Bredbury, Romiley, Marple, New Mills Central and Chinley in both directions.
- Rose Hill to Hyde Central calling at Rose Hill, Romiley, Woodley and Hyde Central and drop off as required to Guide Bridge,in both directions.
Journey times will be extended by approximately 30 minutes whilst travelling on rail replacement coaches.
