No trains between Carlisle and Motherwell / Glasgow Central on Sunday 5 May

Engineering work is taking place between Carlisle and Glasgow Central, closing all lines.

Avanti West Coast:

No trains will run between Carlisle and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.

Replacement buses have not been confirmed, please check back here closer to the time of travel for more information.

CrossCountry:

No trains will call at Motherwell. Replacement buses will run between Edinburgh and Motherwell.

LNER:

The 16:30 London Kings Cross to Glasgow Central service will terminate at Edinburgh. A replacement bus will run between Edinburgh and Motherwell.

It is not yet known how ScotRail or TransPennine Express will be affected by this engineering work.
