Engineering work is taking place between Carlisle and Carstairs, closing all lines.

Avanti West Coat

From 11:30 on Saturday 30 May and all day Sunday 31 May there will be no train service between Carlisle and Scotland via Lockerbie.

A very limited number of trains will run between Carlisle and Glasgow Central via Dumfries on Saturday only.

On Saturday and Sunday a reduced service will run between Preston / Lancaster and Carlisle.

CrossCountry

Buses will replace trains between Motherwell and Glasgow Central. 

TransPennine Express

From 11:30 on Saturday 30 May and all day Sunday 31 May trains to / from Scotland will start / terminate at Carlisle. Replacement buses be in operation between Carlisle and Edinburgh but will not call at Haymarket, customers should use Edinburgh as an alternative. 

Customers wishing to travelling to / from Motherwell should travel via Glasgow Central using local ScotRail services.
