An earlier broken down train at Sheffield means there will be no East Midlands Railway services operating between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester.
Services between Liverpool Lime Street and Nottingham / Norwich will only run between Manchester Oxford Road / Manchester Piccadilly and Nottingham / Norwich.
This will continue until the end of the day.
A normal service is expected to resume from tomorrow, Sunday 5 January.
