Engineering work is taking place between Liverpool Lime Street and Broad Green / Mossley Hill, closing most lines.

Avant West Coast:

An amended service will start / terminate at Crewe. A replacement bus service is planned to run between Liverpool Lime Street and Crewe.

East Midlands Railway:

It is not yet known how East Midlands Railway will be affected by these works.

London Northwestern Railway:

Merseyrail:

An amended service will run.

Northern:

Trains will operate as follows:

Between Liverpool Lime Street and Blackpool North: Trains will start from / terminate Huyton.

Between Liverpool Lime Street and Wilmslow: Trains will start / terminate at Earlestown.

Between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Oxford Road: Trains will start / terminate at Hunts Cross.

Buses will replace trains between:

• Liverpool Lime Street and Hunts Cross
• Liverpool Lime Street and Huyton
• Liverpool Lime Street and Newton-le-Willows

Transpennine Express:

There will be no TransPennine Express services between Manchester stations and Liverpool Lime Street. Trains towards Liverpool Lime Street will be diverted to start / terminate at Manchester Piccadilly. A shuttle train service will be in operation between Manchester Oxford Road and Warrington Central. A rail replacement bus service will be in operation between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Piccadilly.

Transport for Wales:

Buses will replace trains between Liverpool Lime Street and Chester via Runcorn.
