London Underground strike action means some stations that Great Northern, Southern & Thameslink call at will be closed. Trains may be revised or delayed.
Customer Advice
On Thursday, some underground stations that Southern, Thameslink and Great Northern call at will not be open for part or all of the day. On Friday, some underground run stations may also open later than normal. This is expected to have the following effects on our services
Thursday
- Great Northern services which run between Welwyn Garden City and Moorgate, and between Stevenage and Moorgate via Hertford North will terminate and start back from Finsbury Park. Stations between Drayton Park and Moorgate will not be served.
- Thameslink services overnight from late Thursday into Friday morning will not call at Farringdon
- Some late night Southern services between Clapham Junction and Watford Junction will not be able to call at Harrow and Wealdstone.
Friday
- Great Northern services to and from Moorgate are likely to start later than normal, and early morning services may terminate and start back from Finsbury Park instead.
- Early morning Thameslink services may not call at Farringdon.
Can you tell me more about the incident?âââââââ
Some stations served by Southern, Thameslink and Great Northern are managed by different transport companies. In the case of some stations on the Moorgate and Clapham Junction to Watford Junction routes (as well as Farringdon) these are managed by the Tube. Many underground staff are expected to take industrial action on Thursday 10 November, and this will leave some of these stations without enough staff to safely open for passengers.
