Line open with delays Stoke-on-Trent to Uttoxeter
What has happened?
There has been heavy rain flooding the railway at Uttoxeter between Stoke-on-Trent and Uttoxeter disrupting our trains on the Newark / Nottingham / Crewe route.
Network Rail have unblocked the drain and the flood water has now receded.
How does this affect my train?
Trains running through the area in both directions can now run normally between Stoke-on-Trent and Uttoxeter.
As some East Midlands Railway trains got delayed severely there will likely be some late notice alterations and cancellations whilst they recover their service to their advertised times again. Staff expect the advertised timetable to resume on the affected routes by 14:00.
