All lines have reopened following the communication alarm being activated on a train at Norbury. Whilst service recovers, services running towards London Victoria / London Bridge may still be delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 07:30.
Customer advice:
Earlier this morning, the 06:10 Selhurst to London Victoria service had broken down at Norbury, following a passenger alarm being activated on the train. This train has now been moved, but this has been causing delays to some other Southern "Metro" stopping services heading through this station towards London Victoria, or towards London Bridge via Tulse Hill.
Your train may have a delay of up to 15-20 minutes, and there will also be a small number of service alterations and cancellations.
If there's a long wait until the next service, you may wish to consider using alternative London Bus services in the local area. Southern tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on these buses.

Can you tell me more about the incident?
Southern have been working with fleet teams and the train crew to move the affected train as soon as possible. This has now been done, and we will return to the advertised timetable as quickly as possible.
