Lines have reopened following a trespass incident in the Winsford area. Trains running between Crewe and Runcorn / Warrington Bank Quay may still be cancelled or delayed by up to 30 minutes.

Disruption is expected until 17:30.

The emergency services have now apprehended the trespasser. However, until they clear of the lines it is unsafe for trains to run between these stations.
