Lines have been reopened following  fault with the signalling system between Chichester / Petersfield and Havant. Train services running through these stations may still be cancelled or delayed by up to 30 minutes. Disruption is expected until 21:00.

Southern Customer Advice

Services can now run between Havant and Chichester but services in the area will be subject to delays of up to 30 minutes so we advise you to allow extra time to complete your journey.

South Western Railway Customer Advice

There was an axle counter failure at Havant. This has now been resolved and trains are able to run at normal line speed. Services will still be subject to delay, cancellation or revision while the service returns to normal. 

To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost to yourself, on the following services:

Southern services between Portsmouth and Havant (in both directions)
