The RMT Union has announced new national strike action for 5, 7 and 9 November, which will impact the level of service that Stansted Express can operate.
Travel advice:
- You are advised to avoid travelling on 5, 7, 9 November
- If you must travel by train, be prepared for a longer journey than usual and severe disruption.
- The amended timetable won't be published until around 2 to 3 days before the dates shown above. Please check the revised train times before booking your ticket as the first and last trains of the day may change.
- Please note that some trains may be cancelled close to departure time.
5, 7 and 9 November - Strike days
No trains will run before 07:30 and all journeys will be completed by 18:30.
6, 8 and 10 November
Trains are expected to start running from 07:30 because of the previous day's strike and if leaves need to be cleared from the tracks.
The first trains of the day are expected to be busy, so you may wish to consider travelling a little later than usual, especially during the rush hour.
Ticket information
Tickets booked for travel on Saturday 5, Monday 7 or Wednesday 9 November 2022 can be used the day before the date on your ticket up to and including Friday 11 November 2022.
