ScotRail services will be affected by industrial action on the following dates:
Saturday 1 October
Services will run between 07:30 and 18:30, trains will run on the following routes only:
As there will be very limited services running, you're advised to only travel if necessary. If you have to travel, you should expect disruption and plan ahead.
On the evening before (Friday, 30 September), and the morning after (Sunday, 2 October) the strike action, there will be disruption caused by the closing and reopening of signal boxes at different times across the country. A list of cancelled / amended services for Friday and Sunday will be provided in the coming days.

Details of how services will be affected on this day will be available soon.
Please note, ScotRail services will not be directly impacted by the strike action by ASLEF on 5 October as this dispute does not involve any ScotRail train drivers.
Ticket information
If you have a ticket for the day industrial action is taking place you can use the ticket for travel the day before or up to and including Tuesday 4 October. If you have an Advance ticket, please travel as close as possible to the original day and time of travel as possible
