Strike action has been announced by the RMT Union on 20, 22 and 29 July.

Thursday 20 July:

An extremely limited service will operate. There will be a reduced operating window; services will run between 07:00 and 18:30. If you intend to travel where trains are operating, please do check both outward and return journeys. Trains that are operating will be busier than usual.

A very limited service will run only on the following routes between:

• London Paddington and Bristol Temple Meads
• London Paddington and Oxford
• London Paddington and Cardiff
• London Paddington and Plymouth (calling Pewsey / Westbury / Castle Cary)
• Cheltenham Spa and Swindon
• London Paddington and Newbury
• London Paddington and Reading / Didcot Parkway
• West Ealing and Greenford
• Slough and Windsor
• Maidenhead and Bourne End
• Twyford and Henley-on-Thames
• Reading and Basingstoke
• Reading and Redhill
• Cardiff Central and Westbury (via Bristol Parkway)
• Bristol and Plymouth

Please note that the Night Riviera Sleeper service will not operate.
