Strike action has been announced by the RMT union on the following dates:
Thursday 16 March:
East Midlands Railway advise that you only travel by rail if absolutely necessary and if you do travel, expect severe disruption.
Only the routes listed below will have a service. The services below will operate between 07:30 and 18:30 only, with the last departures starting between 15:00 and 16:30. Please ensure you check the time of the first and last train before you travel.
EMR Intercity
One Train Per Hour between Nottingham and London St Pancras International
One Train Per Hour between Sheffield and London St Pancras International
EMR Connect
One Train Per Hour between Corby and London St Pancras International
EMR Regional
One Train per Hour between Derby and Matlock
One Train per Hour between Derby and Nottingham
One Train per Hour between Sheffield and Nottingham
One Train per Hour between Leicester and Nottingham (Stopping Service)
One Train per Hour between Mansfield Woodhouse and Nottingham
All other lines of route will be closed, and no Rail Replacement Bus services will be provided.
Friday 17 March - services across the East Midlands Railway network will start later than normal.
Saturday 18 March, Thursday 30 March and Saturday 1 April: Information will be published here when available.
