Industrial action by the RMT Union is taking place from Friday 27 September until Tuesday 1 October.
On Sunday 29 September, CrossCountry will be operating a significantly reduced service. On all other strike dates, the impact will be much less but there may still be some cancellations due to no available train crew.

CrossCountry will be operating a significantly reduced service - they will be running some longer trains but there may be fewer services running than normal. Timetables for Sunday 29 September will be uploaded here once they are available.
Ticket acceptance on other CrossCountry services:Â Â
If you have purchased a ticket for Sunday 29 September for 'XC ONLY', 'CROSSCOUNTRY ONLY' and 'ANY PERMITTED' which are for travel entirely on CrossCountry services, your ticket will be valid on alternative CrossCountry services on Friday 27, Saturday 28, Monday 30 September and Tuesday 1 October.

To help you complete your journey on Sunday 29 September you may use your ticket on the following operators on any reasonable route, unless specified below:

- East Midlands Trains
- Great Northern / Thameslink - except between Cambridge and London Kings Cross

- London Underground - between London Kings Cross / London Euston and London Paddington only
- Northern
- Transport for Wales
- Virgin Trains
- West Midlands Railway
Customers no longer wishing to travel:
If you no longer wish to travel, you can contact your original ticket retailer to organise a refund.
