The ASLEF Union has announced that strike action will be taken by its members on Saturday 6 April.
There is also an ASLEF Union overtime ban from Thursday 4 April to Saturday 6 April, and from Monday 8 April to Tuesday 9 April. Services on ALL ROUTES will finish earlier than usual - Please check your last trains carefully on the day.
There will be some amendments to early morning trains - please check journey planners to see if your morning journey will be affected.

ASLEF INDUSTRIAL ACTION - Overtime & Rest Day Work Ban
Due to planned ASLEF industrial action on this date, a LIMITED SERVICE will be in operation, structured as follows:
Some additional services will operate during the morning and evening peak periods.
No Chiltern Railways service will operate on the following routes/at the following stations:
A severely reduced Chiltern Railways service will operate at Denham Golf Club and at Kings Sutton.
In respect of planned engineering works, the railway is closed between Princes Risborough and Aylesbury between 08.30 and 20.30. During this period, rail replacement buses will operate as follows, connecting with trains to/from Marylebone at Princes Risborough:
Friday 5 April - Overtime & Rest Day Work Ban
Stratford-upon-Avon services will be running to a significantly different timetable to other days. This is due to West Midlands Railway services not running today (due to strike action) and the consequent lack of platform space at Leamington Spa.
No trains will call at Wembley Stadium all day today. Please do not attempt to use Chiltern Railways services to travel to the event taking place at Wembley Stadium this evening.
Saturday 6 April - Strike day
Due to planned ASLEF industrial action on this date, NO CHILTERN RAILWAYS SERVICES WILL OPERATE.
Great Western Railway, LNER, Northern and TransPennine Express. services will also be affected by strike action today. West Midlands Railway are expected to operate a limited train service north of Leamington Spa. Great Western Railway are expected to operate a limited train service from Oxford towards Reading / London Paddington.
