Industrial action has been announced by the RMT Union on the following dates:

• Thursday 16 March
• Saturday 18 March 
• Thursday 30 March 
• Saturday 1 April

On each of the above strike dates, Avanti West Coast will operate a very limited service as they advise customers only to travel if essential. They days before, between and after the strikes may also be impacted, particularly early morning / late evening services, so please check before you travel.

The National Rail Enquiries Journey Planner is not yet showing the strike day services. Below is a summary of when Journey Planners will be showing the revised timetable:

• For journeys on 16, 17 and 18 March, please check back after 12 March
• For journey on 25 and 26 March, please check back after 9 March
• For journeys on 30 March to 1 April, please check back after 26 March
• For journeys on 2 April, please check back after 24 March

When the planner is updated, please check your entire journey is still possible, especially as the first and last trains of the day may have changed.
