Trains are returning to normal following a points failure in the Dore area. Journeys running between Manchester Piccadilly / Chesterfield and Sheffield may be cancelled or delayed by up to 20 minutes as service recovers.

Disruption is expected until the end of service.

There was a points failure at Dore. This is between Sheffield and Chesterfield and is disrupting trains on the Sheffield / London St Pancras International and Liverpool / Nottingham / Norwich routes.

Network Rail on site have investigated the issue and trains can begin to run through the area again.

How does this affect my train?

Trains running through the area in both directions between Chesterfield and Sheffield can run as normal. Some residual delays may remain.

How do I get where I need to be?

You should continue to travel as originally planned however your journey may be delayed.
