Lines have now reopened following a vehicle striking a bridge between West Hordon and Laindon earlier today.

As service recovers, trains running between Upminster and Pitsea via Laindon may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or diverted via Ockendon.

We anticipate disruption will continue until 19:00.
