Following an earlier trespass incident at Earlsfield, all lines through this station have now reopened.

As service returns to normal, trains running between Clapham Junction and Wimbledon may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 45 minutes or revised.

This is expected until 19:00.

Customer advice:

Following an earlier trespass incident between Clapham Junction and Earlsfield, all lines have now re-opened.

Power to the tracks had been switched off to enable to indvidual to be assisted to a place of safety.

Train services are now able to run through the area, however, whilst service returns to normal, trains may still be cancelled, delayed or revised.

Until further notice the following alterations will apply:

  • London Waterloo to Guildford via Cobham & Stoke d'Abernon / Hampton Court will run non-stop between London Waterloo and Surbiton in both directions.
  • London Waterloo to Shepperton services will be diverted between Clapham Junction and Fulwell via Twickenham in both directions. These services will call additionally at Twickenham and Strawberry Hill.

To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost to yourself, on the following services:

  • London Underground via any reasonable route
  • London Buses via any reasonable route
  • Great Western Railway between London Paddington and Basingstoke via Reading
  • Southern and Thameslink via any reasonable route
  • CrossCountry between Reading and Bournemouth
