Customer Advice
Journeys between East Croydon / West Croydon and Streatham Common are currently subject to delays.
You can use your normal route, but please leave extra time for any essential journeys - for example, if you are catching a flight or connecting with a long-distance train service.
Routes affected:
This has been affecting the following services:
- Southern and Gatwick Express services to and from London Victoria
- Southern services to and from Milton Keynes Central (via Clapham Junction, Shepherds Bush and Watford Junction)
- Southern services between Caterham and London Bridge via Streatham and Tulse Hill
If you prefer, you may use Southern or Thameslink services to and from London Bridge, instead of Southern and Gatwick Express services on routes to and from London Victoria.
You may also use your rail ticket on:
- London Underground services to travel between London Bridge, Blackfriars and Victoria
- TfL Bus services between Croydon and Central London
The driver of the 09:50 London Victoria to East Grinstead service reported a person on the track in the Norbury area. This is currently being investigated, and Network Rail response staff and British Transport Police are on site. It is now believed the trespasser has left the railway, but trains have been running more slowly than normal, to allow drivers to confirm nobody is still on the track.
