Disruption to / from Stansted Airport expected until further notice

Due to a points failure at Stansted Airport all lines are blocked.

Train services running to and from this station may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until further notice.

Greater Anglia / Stansted Express Customer Advice

Due to a fault with the signalling system, that has led to a further points failure, by the tunnel that leads to Stansted Airport Station, trains are unable to run into Stansted Airport.  

Services between Liverpool Street and Stansted will run between Bishops Stortford and Liverpool Street.  

Services between Cambridge and Stansted Airport will be suspended.

Network Rail engineers are en route to the site in order to investigate and rectify the fault.  Staff are currently attempting to source vehicles to run a Rail Replacement Bus service.
