Disruption to Southern services between Brighton and Worthing expected until 12:00

A passenger has been taken ill on a train service at Shoreham-by-Sea and as a result all lines are currrently blocked whilst the emergency services arrive. 

Southern services between Brighton and Worthing may be cancelled or delayed until 12:00

Train services are currently unable to run between Shoreham By Sea and Brighton in the direction towards Brighton. Your journey time will be extended and you may need to use an alternative route to complete your journey.

Your ticket will be accepted on Brighton & Hove buses between Brighton and Shoreham By Sea.

We have been advised of a passenger being taken ill on board a service at Shoreham By Sea. The ambulance service are on site dealing with the incident, however until they have aided the passenger trains are unable to run from Shoreham By Sea towards Brighton.
