As a result of this, trains may be delayed by up to 20 minutes or cancelled. Disruption is expected until 22:00.
What's happened?
The 19:25 service from London Victoria to Ramsgate via Maidstone East and Ashford has stopped between St Mary Cray and Swanley.
Response staff from Network Rail and Southeastern are on their way to the train.
We are currently not able to tell what the issue with the train is but will know more when staff are onsite.
How does this affect my journey?
That train is unable to move and currently blocking one of the lines between Bromley South and Rochester.
Other services are able to run as normal but may be delayed through the area.
What do I need to do?
Our control team are currently working with Network Rail on a plan to assist the train in question.
