An obstruction on the track at Gravesend means some lines are blocked. Trains running through this station may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Disruption is expected until 16:00.
What's happened?
We have been advised of a metal bar being thrown onto the track near Gravesend Station, which has landed onto the conductor rail.
Due to the high voltage this has caused the bar to weld itself to the track.
Network Rail response teams are on route and ETA to be advised shortly.
How does this affect my journey?
Country bound services are unable to run through Gravesend and will be revised.
High Speed services via Faversham will be diverted after Ebbsfleet to run via Ashford International.
