A trespass incident at Margate is causing disruption to trains at the station.
What's happened?
There is a trespasser on the lines near Margate station. The police are on site dealing with the incident, but for the safety of everyone, power to the tracks in the area has been switched off.
How does this affect my journey?
Trains cannot run between Herne Bay and Ramsgate. (Engineering work means replacement buses were already operating between Herne Bay and Sittingbourne).
Trains are also unable to run between Ramsgate and Canterbury West.
What do I need to do?
We are arranging for replacement buses to operate between Herne Bay and Margate.
