An object being caught on the overhead line equipment between London Paddington and Acton Main Line means that trains have to run at reduced speed on some lines.
As a result, trains may be delayed by up to 50 minutes, cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected until 19:00.
Customer advice:
Reports have been made of an item caught in the overhead electric wires which could pose a safety risk to the running of trains. Engineers have been arranged to attend the location of the object and Elizabeth Line are waiting for an update on how long it will take to remove the obstruction. For safety reasons, trains may be temporarily unable to run through the affected area as the overhead power is switched off.
Due to the high risk nature of the work, it may take some time whilst the object is removed and some services may be diverted around the issue using an alternative line.
Please allow for short notice alterations and platform changes and listen to Elizabeth line station announcements or ask a member of staff for further information.
