Due to a fault with the signalling system at Brighton all lines are currently disrupted. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised.

here is a fault with the signalling system at Brighton, which is affecting services heading North towards Three Bridges, Haywards Heath and London. Services heading East towards Eastbourne or West towards Bognor Regis are unaffected at present.
Services initially intended to start from Brighton will instead be started at either Three Bridges or Haywards Heath.
In the meantime, you can use your ticket at no extra cost on:

Can you tell me more about the incident?
A track circuit failure is causing disruption on the northbound line towards London. Trains are currently only able to run East or West from Brighton.
 Track circuits are electrical devices which detect and monitor the passage of trains, as part of the signalling system. Network Rail engineers maintain this equipment and they will be attending to fix the fault.
