Overrunning engineering works between Winchester and Basingstoke means all lines are blocked. Trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised as a result.

Advice for Southwestern Railway customers:
We have been informed of overrunning engineering works between Winchester and Basingstoke. This means that all lines towards Woking are currently blocked. Additionally, trains are required to run at a reduced speed on all lines towards Eastleigh.
Until further notice, where possible, the following alterations will be necessary:
- Services running between Portsmouth Harbour and London Waterloo via Eastleigh will divert via Guildford or terminate at Eastleigh
- Services running between Poole/Bournemouth and London Waterloo will divert via Guildford or terminate at Eastleigh
To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost to yourself, on the following services:
- Great Western Railway services between Basingstoke, Reading and London Paddington
- Bluestar Bus Route 3 between Southampton, Botley, Hedge End and Eastleigh
Replacement road transport has been requested to run between Basingstoke and Eastleigh calling at all stations in between, but has not yet been confirmed by the bus supplier.
