A fault with the signalling system between Vauxhall and London Waterloo means trains running between these stations may be delayed by up to 30 minutes, cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until 22:00.

What We're Doing About It

We have been informed that there is a track circuit failure between Vauxhall and London Waterloo. This means that trains have to run at reduced speed on some lines through this area.

Until further notice the following alterations will be necessary:

  • Services from Woking to London Waterloo via Esher will run non-stop Surbiton to London Waterloo
  • Services from Guildford to London Waterloo via Cobham will run non-stop Surbiton to London Waterloo
  • Services from Shepperton to London Waterloo will run via Twickenham, calling additionally at Strawberry Hill and Twickenham
  • Services from Strawberry Hill to London Waterloo via Kingston will run fast from Wimbledon to London Waterloo
  • Services from London Waterloo to Shepperton will run via Twickenham, calling additionally at Twickenham and Strawberry Hill

To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost to yourself, on the following services:

  • London Buses between London Waterloo, Surbiton, Richmond and Twickenham via any reasonable route
  • London Underground between London Waterloo, Wimbledon and Richmond via any reasonable route
