A speed restriction over defective track at Ilford means trains have to run at reduced speed on some lines. Trains running between Shenfield and London Liverpool Street may be cancelled, delayed or revised.

During a routine check of the track overnight, Network Rail engineers found a crack in a rail at Ilford. In order to make sure that we can still run safely over this area of track, a severe speed restriction will be in place in the area. The speed restriction is likely to lead to congestion, To try and relieve this congestion, Greater Anglia are altering and cancelling some services that run through Ilford this morning. The following services will be altered, or cancelled:

• 04:30 Southend Victoria to London Liverpool Street will terminate at Shenfield
• 05:10 Southend Victoria to London Liverpool Street will terminate at Shenfield
• 05:40 Clacton-On-Sea to London Liverpool Street will terminate at Colchester
• 05:55 Southend Victoria to London Liverpool Street will be cancelled
• 06:00 London Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria will be cancelled
• 06:12 Colchester Town to London Liverpool Street will be cancelled
• 06:25 Southend Victoria to London Liverpool Street will terminate at Shenfield
• 06:35 London Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria will be cancelled
• 06:41 Colchester Town to London Liverpool Street will terminate at Colchester
• 06:42 Southend Victoria to London Liverpool Street will terminate at Shenfield
• 07:13 London Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria will be cancelled
• 07:36 London Liverpool Street to Colchester Town will start at Colchester
• 07:46 London Liverpool Street to Braintree will start at Ingatestone
• 07:53 London Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria will be cancelled
• 08:16 London Liverpool Street to Clacton-On-Sea will start at Colchester

Network Rail engineers are on site and working on the crack in the rail.

Greater Anglia tickets are being accepted on Elizabeth Line services between Shenfield and London Liverpool Street.
