A speed restriction over defective track at Ilford means trains have to run at reduced speed on some lines. Trains running between Shenfield and London Liverpool Street may be cancelled, delayed or revised.

During a routine check of the track overnight, Network Rail engineers found a crack in a rail at Ilford. In order to make sure that we can still run safely over this area of track, a severe speed restriction will be in place in the area. The speed restriction is likely to lead to congestion, To try and relieve this congestion, Greater Anglia are altering and cancelling some services that run through Ilford this morning. The following services will be altered, or cancelled:
Network Rail engineers are on site and working on the crack in the rail.
Greater Anglia tickets are being accepted on Elizabeth Line services between Shenfield and London Liverpool Street.
